Allocating the digital dividend

As television services on the terrestrial television platform are converted from analogue to digital technology and as new technologies emerge that help increase efficient use of spectrum, the opportunity to offer new services has emerged. How frequencies in the VHF/UHF frequencies bands are allocated will be decided by national administrations but must ensure that the DTT platform is protected and able to evolve its service offering.

 

DigiTAG Position Paper

DigiTAG has prepared a Position paper on The Digital Dividend & the Future of Digital Terrestrial Television. The position paper seeks to provide information on the importance of the DTT platform, technologies which can be used to increase the efficient use of spectrum, and how frequencies can be shared with other service providers.
