Lithuania - 21% of households continue to use analogue terrestrial platform

The pay-DTT service provider, TEO, has given its assessment of digital switchover 100 days prior to the completion of analogue switch-off.

Switch-off is set to take place nationwide on 29 October.

According to research published by SIC, 21% of households continued to rely on the analogue terrestrial platform at the end of June.

The switch to digital has been slowest in rural areas where one-third of families continue to rely on the analogue terrestrial platform.
