Italy - 15 parties interested in Telecom Italia Media

A total of 15 entities, including media groups and investors, have expressed an interest in acquiring Telecom Italia Media and its flagship television programme service La7.

Interested parties include Sky, Al Jazeera, Liberty Media and private equity fund Clessidra. A total of 60% of these parties are non-Italian.

Telecom Italia is selling its 77% stake in Telecom Italia Media, which owns the broadcast services La7 and MTV Italia, as well as three DTT multiplexes.
