United Kingdom - No OAD during the London Olympics

The DTG has announced that it will shut-down the DTT Engineering Channel during the period of the London Olympic Games from 25 July until 15 August.

As a result, it will not be possible for manufacturers to implement any new or repeat over-the-air downloads on the DTT platform. This decision has been taken in order to minimise the risks to the DTT platform during an important viewing period.

Emergency downloads could be possible and will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
