Italy - Tivuitalia become DTT multiplex operator

Tivuitalia has become the most recent DTT multiplex operator in Italy. The company is owned by the broadcast equipment manufacturer Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies (SSBT).

Tivuitalia has been acquiring transmission facilities and has already achieved a DTT coverage of about 57% of the population. It has now filed an official declaration with the communications regulator AgCom in order to begin to launch DTT services.

It plans on reaching a 90% population coverage for its DTT services.
