Spain - Government declares ASO a success

According to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, analogue switch-off has been a success in Spain.

Data shows that 80,124 calls were received betweem 30 March 30 and 12 April at the Ministry's Call Centre. Of these, 3.6% of calls were related to signal problems while 8.3% were related to installation problems.

In addition, the Parliament has called on the national and regional governments to provide funding to allow households outside of the DTT coverage area to access digital services via satellite.
